Notice for Your Child’s Profile
Beyond is a private family platform controlled by a parent or legal guardian. Beyond is operated by Beyond Generations LLC, doing business as Beyond.
To create and operate this child profile, Beyond may collect and maintain information such as:
- your child's name or nickname;
- birthdate, age, and grade;
- profile photograph;
- schoolwork, portfolios, attendance, and educational notes;
- photographs, videos, and audio recordings;
- memories, stories, journal entries, and Future Letters;
- optional height and weight information;
- information contained in files or content submitted through the child's profile; and
- limited device, usage, and security information needed to operate and protect the Service.
How We Use the Information
We use this information to:
- create and maintain the child profile;
- provide the family features you select;
- organize and preserve your family's content;
- allow access by family members you authorize;
- authenticate users and protect account security;
- provide user-requested Autofill, transcription, Generated Summary, and file or media processing;
- provide support and troubleshoot problems; and
- comply with applicable law.
Service Providers
Beyond uses service providers for functions such as hosting, storage, authentication, security, communications, payment processing, application diagnostics, transcription, file and media processing, Autofill, and Generated Summary.
These providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to Beyond, protect the Service, or comply with law. They may not sell Family Content, use it for targeted advertising, or use private Family Content to train their own general-purpose models.
Beyond will request separate parental permission before disclosing a child's personal information to a nonessential recipient when separate consent is required.
If you do not provide consent, Beyond will not activate child access or collect, use, or disclose personal information directly from the child, except for limited information that may be collected and promptly deleted solely to provide this notice and obtain consent.
Privacy Commitments
- Your child's profile and content are private by default.
- Information is visible only to you and people you authorize, unless you separately direct Beyond to share or export it.
- Beyond does not sell children's personal information.
- Beyond does not use children's information for targeted advertising.
- Beyond does not use a child's image or voice to create a biometric identifier for identification or authentication.
- Beyond does not use private Family Content to train general-purpose models.
How Long We Keep the Information
Information associated with the child profile is retained while the profile or family account remains active or until you delete it.
After deletion, information is generally removed from active production systems within 30 days and from backups as they are overwritten, generally within 90 days.
Temporary files created solely for Autofill, Generated Summary, transcription, or media processing are deleted within 30 days unless you save them as Family Content.
Records documenting parental consent may be retained while the child profile remains active and for up to three years afterward for compliance, security, and dispute-resolution purposes.

Your Rights as a Parent or Legal Guardian
You may:
- review your child's information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- download or export the information;
- direct Beyond to stop further collection or use;
- withdraw your consent; and
- request deletion of the child profile and information.
You can use account settings where available or contact [email protected].
Withdrawing consent or deleting required information may disable the child profile or features that depend on that information.
Parent or Guardian Certification
By continuing, I certify that:
- I am at least 18 years old;
- I am this child's parent or legal guardian, or I am legally authorized to act for the child;
- I have reviewed this Parental Notice and the Beyond Privacy Policy;
- I understand what information Beyond may collect and how it will be used;
- I consent to the collection and use of the child's information as described above; and
- I understand that I may withdraw my consent and request deletion.
